Music Works
Fiona Mason has teamed up with co-directors Iain Court and Andy Lynham to create a new music education company Music Works. The company's philosophy is all about empowering you to get the most out of your music to create your own sound and we believe that you learn best when you're enjoying yourself. Music Works provides focussed but fun group and individual music training and coaching in contemporary vocals, contemporary instrumental technique, group performance, performance technique, studio preparation, studio engineering, yoga and relaxation for performance and the music business. The company's experienced tutors deliver high quality, empowering, person centred learning experiences across Essex and nationally in a range of venues and settings including theatres, arts centres, schools, colleges, community centres and to the corporate sector where music is a great tool for team building. SEGUE Productions
In 2006 Fiona Mason founded SEGUE Productions as a vehicle for developing, producing and presenting an eclectic mix of music led performance projects and cross-artform collaborations. SEGUE has presented a regular concert series JAZZ at the LAKESIDE at the Lakeside Theatre at the University of Essex, as well as gigs at other regional venues including the New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich. SEGUE has two Associate Artists, Adriano Adewale and Kate Flatt. In 2008 launched SEGUE RECORDS with Adriano Adewale Group's debut album Sementes as its first release. Current SEGUE Productions are Adriano Adewale: Sound Journey in association with the Lakeside Theatre Colchester and Songs from a Hotel Bedroom conceived and directed by Kate Flatt with Peter Rowe, co-produced with the New Wolsey Theatre and Watford Palace Theatre and co-commissioned by ROH2 the Royal Opera House.

Fiona is the Director of SOUNDEXCHANGE, the independent music development organisation for Essex. A registered charity, the organisation exists to support and nurture a rich and sustainable music infrastructure for Essex for all across all genres of music by supporting and enabling participation, creation, collaboration, appreciation, information exchange and Learning. SOUNDEXCHANGE is a resource for musicians, music leaders, music businesses, bands, venues, schools and community groups to share information about music events, activities and resources in Essex. ADRIANO ADEWALE
Adriano Adewale is an outstanding Brazilian percussionist who has been based in London since 2000. As his Manager and Producer since 2006 Fiona's work with Adriano has included developing live, recording, education and theatre projects.

KATE FLATT
Kate Flatt is a choreographer and director best known for her large scale work choreographing opera and music theatre for the West End (Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof, Carmen, Dr Faustus). In 2008 Fiona produced Kate Flatt's Soul Play a powerful piece of dance-theatre, for one actor (Sam Curtis) and one dancer (Joy Constantinides), which explored the archetypal idea of 'soul' in a secular world. Scripted by Anna Reynolds and choreographed and Directed by Kate Flatt, The work paints an intimate portrait of a man on the ultimate journey, guided by an enigmatic spirit in the guise of a dancer. In 2009/10 Fiona produced Songs from a Hotel Bedroom for SEGUE directed and choreographed by Kate Flatt. www.kateflatt.com
